One of the greatest diseases we have in this country is adultery; yet we are not talking about it. We use the ostrich approach and pretend it is not happening. For others, they shrug it off like it is a norm especially when a man is involved. Some will even explain it away that an average African man is polygamous in nature. When did polygamy and adultery become the same thing?
This hydra headed monster is helping to destroy homes not just emotionally but physically. What with the spread of so many sexually transmitted diseases like Staphilococus, Gonorrhea, HIV, Hepatitis (didn’t know that one could be sexually transmitted before) and many others.
Guy, what is your problem? Why would you allow your indiscipline destroy the destiny of another person? I am not saying only men are involved in this; just that they are very much more in it than women. There are also some women whose pants come down faster than Usain Bolt’s world record. What is your issh?
It starts from the time of courtship. A guy keeps revelling in fornication with different girls and he comes begging, you forgive and “understand.”. After all, you are special. So, he is keeping you. You are the bae! It is unfortunate but true, marriage does not cure sexual philandering. He will most likely, always seek for more outside. It is better he deals with his sexual sickness before you say ” Yes” or you allow him go look for his type so that you don’t end up with “life injury.”
My heart bleeds when I hear of couples infected with incurable sexually transmitted diseases because of one partner’s indiscipline. What is the fate of their children if both of them end up dying prematurely! I saw it happen to a couple few years ago and the children ended up with a relative of the lady. The man was infected by his girlfriend and he went home to infect his wife. I have also heard of a man who would rather perform his marital duty than face the shame of confessing to his wife that he was an HIV carrier.
It is grossly unfair on someone who disciplines himself/herself only to be subjected to a stigmatized living because of the immorality of someone else.
Let everybody gird and guide his/her loins and we will all be better off.
