It is a fact that times are hard and everyone seems to be on edge. Many are sinking into depression and unstable state of mind.
This problem cuts across strata of the society. Parents find bills payment weighing them down. Youths are faced with so much temptation trying to catch up with their peers. Families are under so much strain that husbands and wives have developed the ability to study moods before communicating.
In times like this, it is pertinent to learn how to have a rein on your emotions else one could be swept away by this wind. It is a temporary phase and will pass. Being alive and with a sound mind to celebrate the end of it should be the goal of every individual.
Marriages have crashed in the midst of this. Health have been lost. Careers have been jeopardized and countless unpleasant events.
It has often been said that tough times don’t last but tough people do. This is the time to put it into practice. All that many of us need is to adjust our way of life and things will be fine. How about having a holiday somewhere in Nigeria rather than heading overseas to spend the hard currency that is scarce. Why are you more concerned about what others will say if you fly economy rather than first class? Why are you killing yourself slowly trying to please others who don’t even recognize your efforts to please them.
In times like this, it is important to go back to the drawing board and trim what needs to be trimmed in our lifestyle so we can stop struggling. A life who overcomes storm lives to tell the story and testify. Remember the dead doesn’t know the difference between the good and the bad times.

VERY TRUE. Contentment and avoidance of unnecessary comparison with mates and peers is the key.
Very instructive write up. Let’s just live within our means and be happy and contented.
